Adult Education:

Further faith growth for adults through speakers, videos, catechism series, and bible studies throughout the year especially during Advent and Lent.

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults:

RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a process through which baptized Christians and non-baptized men and women may become Catholics, and current Catholics who have not yet received the sacraments of the Eucharist and Confirmation may do so.  Participants undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist. The process of weekly classes takes eight months, with final entrance into the Catholic Faith at Easter. RCIA classes begin in the fall.

Often when a Catholic marries another person who is not Catholic, there are understandable challenges when worshipping together in the same church. Often it can be hard teaching your children about the Catholic faith if you are not going to church as a family. Yet this is an important duty for Catholic parents. RCIA can help both parents to better learn how to pass the teachings and traditions to their children.

If you know someone interested in becoming a Catholic, please call Fr. Craig at 455-1289 or Marsha Moon at 455-1485. Our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) will begin after Labor Day and usually runs evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm.

Catholics Returning Home

Were you raised Catholic but seldom come to church anymore? Or not at all?  Are you a Catholic who now feels separated from your church? Would you like to know more about the church as it is today? Would you like to feel at home in the Catholic Church again? No matter how long you have been away, no matter the reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with the Catholic Church. Please join us for informal listening sessions and an update of the Catholic faith. The sessions will be held after Christmas, in a six week session  in the rectory basement of St. Philip Neri Church from 7:00PM to 8:30PM, Tuesday evenings.

Classes for Children:

Religious Education Classes for children attending public schools begins Wednesday, September 7th at 6:30 pm with Mass in Church. Kindergarten classes will also be offered. Call Marsha Moon at 455-2190 to sign up or for questions.
